Can Probiotics Help With Constipation?

Can Probiotics Help With Constipation?

Hi there, Eric Bakker. Thanks for coming back and looking at the
video. We’re going to talk about probiotics and constipation
today. A viewer has asked me a question, “What type
of probiotics can I use, and can they help with constipation?” Well, probiotics are fantastic for constipation,
especially the bifidobacteria strains, which live in the large intestine. Probiotics really aid by lowering the pH of
the environment that they’re in. They encourage digestive processes to occur,
they increase the power of the immune system, they suppress dysbiotic bacteria, parasites,
and yeasts in the bowel, and they certainly speed up the rate of the passage of stool
through the bowel. We’ve noticed that people with the highest
beneficial counts tend to have the best bowel motions, and people with the lowest counts
tend to have the most bloating, and gas, constipation. Do yourself a favor and take a probiotic at
least once per day regularly if you’ve got constipation. It’s going to help. Better still, if you can find a probiotic
with digestive enzymes with it, so those tend to be in my experience, the supplements that
have the best effect on constipation, an enzyme probiotic. Check out CanXida Restore for this reason,
the product with the green label on it, which I created … I think I put it up here … a
couple of years ago now. So CanXida Restore. That’s go several enzymes in it and also bifidobacteria,
so that’s going to help the bowel work a lot better than if you don’t take a probiotic. One capsule per day is all you generally need,
and especially useful if you only eat the right kind of foods that contain prebiotic
fibers. I’ve never been a fan of putting prebiotic
sugars in my supplements, so if you eat the right food, you’ve got good levels of bifidobacteria
in the colon, you’re generally going to have a much easier time passing a bowel motion. Thanks for checking out the video.
